As most of you no I am also producing music.. Thanks to True Skool Music they are releasing a free mix to everyone... If you like the music in our show then you will love this mix..
Pick-N-play is a new concept Afco and skynet are doing on Thursdays. Where we hang out at the Bass Bin or Dubey Street Studio with friends and just listen / play all our freakin music. We buy and recieve sooooo much music on vinyl, mp3 and cds these days its hard to keep up. Also we are busy with family, making music, promoting, designing and keeping up with the general daily grind, We never get to just 'SPIN' anymore. (We used to spin hours eveynight listening to new records and practicing mixes.- to be ready for gigs, now its grab that latest and we will figure it out when we get their-lol)
So We decided to spend 1 night a week and just kick it . . ..
Just like the title reads - Pick random tracks from the collection and play the shit out of them .. . no rehersals -no redos -no computer Beatmatching. Just 100% live mixing while smoken, drinken the goose and dancing with friends. .
As an outlet to get caught up on music from eveyone, test our new material and bring all of our musical flavors to the public we are recording these sessions and will be posting them here. Most will have track list some will not. .. .
Any songs u here that are ours should be availbale in mp3 format in the breakbeatalliance store or most of any tracks played in the the pick-n-play sessions on vinyl new or old, will be availble at www.discogs/afco.
Eventually I would like to turn this into a show for UB - listeners. . always plannin - -anyway enjoy!
